Alrighty! Now... on to my project...

I have a fun little altered notebook to share with you today.

I love weaving papers together and for this project, I was inspired by Roben-Marie's Sticker Tapes.

As you can see here, I have the Laguna and the Urban Fringe Sticker Tapes at the ready:

Then, I simply left them on their backing and cut them into strips...

Each strip was cut in half and then cut out completely, sticker backing left on. Once they were all cut, I simply peeled off the end of each strip, exposing the adhesive. Then, I stuck the sticky side to a strip of scrap paper.
With all strips horizontally in place, I then began weaving in the vertical pieces...

Until I had this! Notice, I didn't weave evening, nor all the way across. This makes it more whimsical and fun!

You can see here how it will fit nicely over my little notebook. See it there? Its the little kraft colored book under the weaving...

After a couple passes through my sewing machine for added texture and security, I wrapped the weaving around the cover of the booklet.

And turned the edges in. To adhere it to my pre-bought booklet, I exposed more of the adhesive backing in place, and used dabs of glue in certain places.

Then, a quick pass with some white paint and my palette knife adds some mixed media goodness and another layer of texture.

And, as you can see here, I finished it off with one of the Laguna Art Pops Circle Stickers, some rhinestones, and some pencil scribbles...
And, a few Roben-Marie File tabs as well...

This was so much fun to put together and I just love the way it turned out!

I hope this has inspired you to incorporate some weaving into your next project. Thanks for stopping by on this hop! If you would like to see more of my work, you can check out my YouTube channel HERE. Or take one of my self-paced classes HERE.

Now, be sure to continue on in the hop - your next stop is...Anna Friesen

See you soon!
