Questions and Answers:

How are these videos different from what you already post for free on YouTube?
  • My YouTube art journaling videos are typically presented in high speed, with no voice over. The videos presented in this course are shown in real time, with narration, including in-depth explanations of my process and artistic choices.
What supplies do I need?
  • I encourage you to take this course regardless of the supplies you currently have! The tips and ideas should provide you with plenty of inspiration to get you started, even if your supplies are limited. That being said, I do realize it is helpful to know more than that. So, the supplies that I use in the course are:  white acrylic paint, white gesso, prisma color pencils, gelatos, crayola portfolio oil pastels, graphite pencil, fude ball pen, white signo pen, krylon clear spray, dyslusions art journal, various brushes, and a craft store watercolor palette.
  • The classroom page will contain a detailed supply link list
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
  • While I feel this class is an extremely good value for the price, I would not want anyone to be unhappy with their purchase. If that is indeed the case, please contact me directly and we can work together to resolve any issue you may be having.
Speaking of price, how much is the course?
  • Only $7!

June Pocket Pages!

Last week I mentioned that I had fun at a birthday crop. I made lots of things, one of which was my June pocket page spread...
This is another picture heavy spread - lots going on in June! Also, one pocket was devoted to some cute little love notes we got one day from our oldest.

Plenty of 28 Lilac Lane and A Flair For Buttons made it in too!

And seriously... how cute is that camera??? It's a stamp set by ALTENEW and was a birthday present from a dear friend,

The second side of the spread also has lots of pictures, another one of those cameras, plenty of 28 Lilac Lane and AFFB... also, see that cute scribble circle cut? That was a die that was another present from a sweet friend. Gotta love good, scrappy friends! Oh, and that bird? Buttons Galore and More. I just love it!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Art Journaling, Local Scrapbook Store Fun, and a Crop!

Hello there!

I have a fun little art journaling video to share with you today:

In my last video I mentioned that I am finding my groove with a more painterly style... leaning more towards a nod to abstract realism. You can see me playing with that here. There is a small portion of my process where I forgot to hit record... oops! So, what you don't see is my doodling of scribbles, then filling them in with gelatos. I also painted a very primitive house.

Thanks for watching!

A NOTE: I have had many lovely requests for more in-depth videos, talking through my process, and explaining how I draw my faces... please know that I have plans to work on an Art Journaling Mini Class... hopefully available in the next few month. Thank you!

I had a ton of fun with this spread!

This week, I also had the pleasure of attending my first, "in real life." class at my Local Scrapbook Store (Paper Dreams in Kennesaw, GA)
It was a Bible Journaling class and as I have never done this before, it was really fun!
The instructor showed several ways she used their chosen stamp of the month and then we all just played!

Here you can see what I did:
You might notice, I didn't do mine in my Bible... I don't have a Bible Journal, so I created this to use as a tip-in/bookmark.

I also got to play in my Documented Life Project this week, at a birthday crop that a dear friend of mine hosted for several of us with July birthdays...
You can see me putting some Buttons Galore and More goodies to use there!

I also worked on some scrapping and art journaling and will share more of that soon!
