Thanks for a great video! Your work is lovely. And I really loved the chit chat. That was cool, I really like hearing what you're into. Ok, to answer some of your questions... the lighting in your videos seem fine to me, though I'm no expert. Being directly north of you by quite a bit, I understand the darkness, gets dark here by 4:30, ugh! Anyway, I think they look great. Right now, I am doing December Daily, it's my first time, and I really like it. Earlier this year, I started my version of pocket pages, in 6x8, which is manageable, though it's not really cohesive. I don't label weeks, you know, week 44, etc, though of course everything is dated. I am also still doing layouts. I do a 6x8 layout which allows me to still get messy, paint, and such, which I love. It's something I miss with pocket pages, though I often stamp, or watercolor my own journal cards. I got away a bit from 12x12 layouts, but still do the occasional, and will continue with it, it's the first thing I started with, and still my favorite way to tell stories. Another thing I got away from is my painting, outside of scrapbooking. I love it, and want to continue to practice (I'm not a natural, talent wise). It's Jon st my first priority is, and all will be, my pictures. My stories, everything else takes a back seat, and that's ok, I hope to go back to it. Anyway, that's all for me. Thanks again for an awesome video. Michelle t
THANKS so much! Love hearing what you are doing too :)
So happy to see your post today :) It's my Monday smile I look forward too:) I have really enjoyed the online classes this year Ashli :) Favorites and so easy to implement into my own personal groove of art and crafting. I like to do it all and that's the fun for me ....Journal page..."squirrel" ...cards...squirrel....mixed media and scrapping...squirrel ... I think you get it how I groove here hahaha :) I personally love the stamping online class...it has really renewed the way I view stamps I already have and has personally brought a love to my pages that reminds me of you :) My fav is upside down "characters" and white acrylic on it all ! :) I personally love looking at others work..the whole ball of crafting...but always drawn to the personal groove of you, Dina Wakley, Julie, and others across the world. I am not a planner, December Daily girl as so many beautiful creations that exist ...I just love the personal touch with a few new things to add in here and there. The minimalist view is so much more appealing...I mean how much "stuff" do we really need! I do have a love for watercolor ...paints, neocolors, pastels, and love trying out different mediums but still love the fun play that you create with your posts and classes. I wish you and your family the happiest blessings this Christmas season.
Are you are too sweet! Also love hearing what you are up to :)
