Oh Brother....Art.Paint.Journal.Play... Quilting...

Welcome back to another installment of the Oh Brother series... a blog series chronicling my adventures in learning my Brother ScanNCut.

AND... this is also another edition of Art.Paint.Journal.Play!

One of the coolest things about the Brother ScanNCut is all of the pre-loaded quilting designs. Now, this is obviously really cool if you are a quilter, but it is also super useful for paper crafters!
Take a look in this video of how I put to use a paper pieced "quilt" on an art journal spread...
That was super fun and I learned a lot too!
 What did I learn?
  • I really like paper piecing different patterns together in a pre-cut quilt design!
  • I had more of a problem than I thought I would incorporating ephemera onto my art journal spread.
  • Less is more. I probably should have stopped work on this spread long before I did.
  • I want to play with more paper "quilting!"

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you soon!

Some, but not all, of the products used...
