Not So Much?

Horses? Not so much...

Scrapping about how I am not fond of riding said horses? Yes, please!

I recently shared this page over at the fabulous A Flair For Buttons Blog...
I just love how the FLAIR layered up with the Chipboard Pieces from Crate Paper...

Let's Have a Gathering...

The November Cocoa Daisy Kits are gorgeous! "Gathering" is full of the most lovely and unexpected color and pattern combinations. Before I show you what I created, let's have a look at the unboxing video...

And, now for the projects!

I used lots of the DITL cards, cut into strips, to line the bottom of this layout. And those cats? Aren't they cute! Just like I mentioned in the unboxing video, I had more fun letting them peak out from various places on my pages...

Next up, one of the free (to subscribers) kitty cut files gave me some art journaling inspiration. I will have an Art.Paint.Journal.Play process video coming later in the month for this too!

Here, I enjoyed playing with that gorgeous leaf patterned paper. It is one of the exclusives this month.

Up next... while Bible Journaling (in a scrappy way) is not my thing, I have always wished my Bible had a pocket to hold special notes and letters. I fell in love with this exclusive patterned paper and knew I wouldn't mind looking at it over an over again. SO... a pocket it became!

Next up, stepping out of my comfort zone with a patterned paper background! And, how could I not scrap that photo?

More fun with the leaf paper. This time, on a card...

And here, I really enjoyed prepping an October Spread last month (more on how that's coming along in another post) that I decided to do something similar for November... And, a process video is coming soon too!

Here, a little DITL card and a kitty find their home on a card...

Up next, this is inspired by the sketch of the month, and is incidentally also titled "sketch." HA!

I had so much fun playing with the alpha stamp for this page. Look for it to appear on the blog again too...

And finally, the free November planner printables inspired this card, and it is finished off with that awesome mushroom... another exclusive!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit Cocoa Daisy to find all these goodies!

Flowers, Polka Dots and a Dog?

What exactly do flowers, polka dots, layered embellishments and a dog have in common?

Yesterday, I shared a little video on the Cocoa Daisy Blog that will answer just this question!

Have a look:

I had so much fun with this page!
It's a recent favorite, for sure!

Thanks for stopping by!

Gather 'Round!

Hello friends!

It is almost the end of October and that means it is time to take a peak at the November Kit offerings from the fabulous Cocoa Daisy!

The kits this month are called "Gathering" and they are the most gorgeous and unexpected combinations of colors and patterns...

The soft greens and golds, with the perfect touches of pink and red are just wonderful to work with! In fact, some of the papers even had me scrapping on patterns, instead of white! I love it when supplies take me outside of my comfort zone!

Kits reveal on the 28th at 9 pm EST. Hope to see you on the Cocoa Daisy Forums for our reveal chat, starting at 8 pm EST!

A Trip Down Simon Memory Lane...

As you know, I recently stepped down from the DT at Simon Says Stamp. I was on this team for just over 3 amazing years! Our fearless leader, May Flaum never ceased to inspired and challenge! It was wonderful! So... before this month leaves us completely, let's have a look back at some of my favorite projects that I created for Simon, shall we?

Let me first say that creating weekly, for over 3 years, ends up being over 150 projects! WOW! I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites, but managed to pull 35 of my most favorite projects. And, here they all are... in no particular order.

I wonder... can you tell which ones are older and which are newer?

In case you would like more info and process details, you can search "simon says stamp" on the sidebar of my blog to pull up all my past posts for them.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and for joining me on this trip down memory lane!
