A Coptic Attempt...

Oh how I love the look of Coptic Binding!

I've always wanted to give this a try and after many many hours of watching various YouTube tutorials, I decided to give it a go....

Let me tell you, it is simple in concept, but not the least bit easy!

Ah - but I love trying new things and this was no exception!

Speaking of trying new things... the covers of this book are adhered with some recent Gelli Prints of mine... as well as the insides of the front and back...
 More on that later...

I really do like how this turned out! And... I made it as a gift, so hopefully she likes it too!

  5. Ashli, this turned out beautifully. I have also tried the coptic, years ago, and it really makes a lovely binding. Your book of notes turned out wonderfully.
