Home Grown

Hello, hello! It's Monday and that means we have a new challenge waiting for you at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.

Design team member Michelle has a summer challenge for us this week! She says: So many things have grown in the Summer. Inspiration can be found in backyard gardens and jars of freshly canned veggies or maybe children who have grown like weeds. Or an idea that’s just taken root. There’s a lot of room for growth. (Pun intended)
So let’s see how a homegrown summer is inspiring you!

I have been working on a bit of heritage memory keeping (more on that soon) and recently came across some photos of my mother while she was expecting me. As she is tending to her beloved garden in one of the pictures, this was the perfect week to scrap about that!

Using several of my favorite supplies, I doodled up some flowers and houses to accent my page...
And layered my photos on top...
Home Grown, indeed!
So, now it's your turn! Get your crafty plans on and be sure to link-up with us! Every week a random winner is chosen to win a $50 spending spree from SimonSaysStamp.com.

Here is my supply list (affiliate links included):

  1. Once again you've shown that you are a master of composition and I appreciate how the design elements are growing up from the bottom of the page. What a treasure to have those photos and your page compliments the subject perfectly.

  5. Oh, I LOVE this!! I love to see your doodles, and it is fun to see similar ones pop up time and again. This time, the houses on the "flowers" are just awesome. Lovely soft colors, and the black and white photos are perfect.
