Celebrating with a Trio of Color...

Hello, hello! It's Monday and that means we have a new challenge waiting for you at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.

The challenge this week is to use three colors of ink, paint, or another color medium of the same kind. From distress ink to gelatos, acrylic paint to watercolor pencils – you can pick the medium and the trio! I have no doubt some great color combinations will be shared, and new inspiration found.

I was inspired to make my own embellishments this week! Using some Gelatos and a Flower Die...
Then, I simply colored with my Gelatos, onto white paper, then wet them with some water and a brush...

Then, once dry, my "gelatoed" paper received a flowery cut treatment, using my Sizzix and the aforementioned dies. Then, I simply assembled the goodies and started working on my layout!

Flower placed...
 and leaves scattered...
And there we have it... a page celebrating 10 years of friendship with one of the most special and delightful people I have ever had the pleasure to know!

And that, my friends, is pure joyful scrapping!

Now, go get your crafty on and be sure to link-up with us! Every week a random winner is chosen to win a $50 spending spree from SimonSaysStamp.com.

Here is my supply list (affiliate links included):
