H is for Heart...

Hello, hello! It's Monday and that means we have a new challenge waiting for you at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.

This week, we are all about the letter "H." With Valentine’s Day next week, the first thing that comes to mind is hearts, but what else could this letter inspire in your crafting this week? From hexagons to heat embossing, Hero Arts to Heidi Swapp there are plenty of ways to let this week’s letter challenge inspire you!

I was inspired to play with my new set of PrismaColor Pencils. So, I started by doodling a heart on my background. Then, remembering a technique I used in high school, with a blending stick, I used my white Pitt Pen to try a little blending.

Turns out... that is really fun!
I got my heart all blended, grabbed my photo and a few patterned papers...
And then played with some small hearts...
Well, the big heart was too big and the small hearts were too pink, so I took a different direction and did what I did with the big heart, but on a smaller scale...
And that was the ticket! A few simple embellishments and some more doodles and there we have it!

I had so much fun with those PrismaColors... I think I will be putting them to use on more of my pages!
And now it's your turn! Show us what you come up with for the letter "H" and don't forget to link-up with us! Every week a random winner is chosen to win a $50 spending spree from SimonSaysStamp.com.
