An Old Favorite, Used in a New Way

Hello, hello! It's Monday and that means we have a new challenge waiting for you at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.

It’s a new year, and our first challenge of 2015! This is so very exciting and we’d like to kick things off celebrating both old and new. So, get crafty with something old, perhaps in a new way or use a new supply to scrap an older photo...

As for me, I decided to put an old favorite stamp to use in a new way!

First step? Stamping with Gelatos...

And then, instead of using the image the way it is... I simply cut out some of the dots...
Ah yes! They will make lovely embellishments for this little picture...
Stitched down...
With some more embellishments dotted about...

And there we have it!!
Oh, how I love breathing new life into old supplies!

Alrighty!
Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see what you do with this week's theme! Go get crafty and don't forget to link-up with us! Every week a random winner is chosen to win a $50 spending spree from SimonSaysStamp.com.

Here is my supply list (affiliate links included):

  14. You made me remember my first glasses (5th grade) which were bright blue cat eye frames. As always, I love the simplicity of your layouts, the little bits sprinkled here and there, and your mark making (hand writing, dots and lines, etc.). The machine stitching--perfect finesse!
