Ornaments in Flight...

Hello, hello! It's Monday and that means we have a new challenge waiting for you at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. This week, it's all about ornaments!

From simple paper designs to mixed media masterpieces, stamped ornaments to something you create to be ornamental – this week we are inspired by ornaments. They can sparkle, shine, be big or small – how will you be inspired this week?

As soon as I got my hand's on the Tim Holtz butterfly die and embossing set, I knew I wanted to play around with layers. Look how pretty those are!
And with a little gold ink? Even prettier!
Now, I want to add some sparkle and shine to catch the holiday lights... So first, glossy accents!
 And then, lots of glitter!
Ahhh... but I couldn't stop there. I decided to stick some bling and sequins, covered in lots of glossy accents...
Likey so! Now... for the patience to let them dry...
Once they were all dry, I did the same thing on the other side. Then, I simply stitched them down the middle, added some floss, and ta da... a fun ornament!

And, now it's your turn! Don't forget to link-up with us! Every week a random winner is chosen to win a $50 spending spree from SimonSaysStamp.com.

  5. Oh, wow, what a great ornament. So pretty. I just love what you did with the Glossy Accents. I have this and use often, and you have inspired me to really use it! Anyway, the inking and glitter are just in the perfect spots on the butterfly. Neat die set too. Michelle t
