Here We Go... On a Journey Close to Home...

Happy Monday! We have a new challenge for you up on the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge blog.

Whether we are talking about your own creative journey, process, life in general, or your next vacation we know one thing: it’s going to be a journey. This word is so inspiring, and conjures up so many images and thoughts we can’t wait to see how you interpret the challenge.

Sometimes the best journeys around here are those closest to home. When the weather is nice, the girls and I love to get out first thing and take a walk up to our neighborhood park. We have lots of fun nature discoveries and lots of giggles along the way.

Let's scrap about it!

With my little Instagram pictures printed, I have pulled out lots of the Amy Tangerine Plus One goodies to compliment the accents of bold colors in the photos...
The little sentiment was cut off of a branding strip. I want it to be part of my title, but want it to have a little more visual impact. So, I am thinking some free-form black circles might do the trick:
Yes! They do. Yay!
Now, for a little layering behind those photos...
And some rub-sons...
This is coming together! I want to add a bit more texture by way of stamping...
Yeppers...
Ta Da!
I just love the way the stripes of this page, along with the bold color accents add to the sense of movement...
Here we go!
I can't wait to see how you interpret this fun challenge...
So... now it's your turn! Go get crafty and link-up with us!
Every week a random winner is chosen to win a $50 spending spree from SimonSaysStamp.com.

How awesome is that?

Here is my supply list :)
