A Doily A Day...

A Doily A Day Keeps the Doctor Away? Well, maybe in some sort of vintage crafty wonderland. But, a more realistic idea is that a doily a day will put you in a crafty give away! That's right, your doily and lace project will put you in the running for a $50 shopping spree from Simon Says Stamp! How awesome is that!
Over at the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog, we are inviting you to get your doily and lace on this week. Link-up your projects for your chance to win. We can't wait to see what you make!

Here I have grabbed all of my doily goodness in my stash. Punches, stamps, oh yeah - and an actual doily:
First up, one of those doilies used as a stencil creates a lovely little background detail:
And a bit of a spritz gives it some definition:
Now for the actual doily. I quite like the idea of playing with the modern and graphic trend of the pie chart and combining it with the classic vintage feel of this doily:
Ah yes... a nice little landing spot for my photo indeed:
 And now, some punched doilies...
We mustn't forget the stamps!
A bit of vintage lace gets layered up with my other little bits:
These "snowflake" wood veneers look like doilies, don't they?
I believe they need to get on this page too!
Some mist and a bit of title work. I LOVE this style of Thicker!
 And there we have it!
Some doilies, some pen work....
All a part of the morning routine...
See? Just like I said... A Doily A Day!
Keeps the Crafting Blues Away :)

Now, show us your Doily and Lace goodness!
