I Heart You

It's all about hearts this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show! We even have an awesome Guest Designer joining us: The Gentleman Crafter!

I love hearts!
And what I love even more is that you have yet another chance at a $50 gift voucher for simonsaysstamp.com!

All you have to do is play along with our theme of the week and link-up.

Easy Peasy!

So, what has me thinking of hearts this week?
My baby girl, of course!

First... let's cut out some vellum:
Even the negatives will be pretty...
Photo all picked out. I couldn't resist how her mouth is in the shape of a heart. Perfection...
A large heart cut to anchor the page and a bit of misting...
Well, that's certainly lovely and all that good stuff, but it's lacking a certain oomph, wouldn't you say?

Black and white stripes and washi to the rescue:

Remember our vellum hearts? Time to layer them up:
  ooooh, pretty!
Title time! Some Thickers and a bit of hand-cut heart action:
And no heart page would be complete without these Studio Calico veneers. Plus, they are my secret weapon for covering all of the adhesive you can see through the vellum. I love these hearts! I may or may not be on my 5th package of them...
YES! That bling doesn't hurt either :)
 Oh little one...
 I do HEART you!
What will you HEART this week?

Link-it-up. Can't wait to see!

  7. Ashli...your layout using the vellum hearts looks wonderful. I love the big heart you've done on the background and all the little hearts really add such a light, airy feeling to the page. The addition of the washi tape and wooden hearts make wonderful embellishments. Beautiful photograph and beautiful layout. <3 Candy
