The Continuity of Things

It started with a late night email, a moment of hyperventilation and a quick check to see if I was indeed awake and not dreaming and ... well, the next thing you know, I am joining the Paper Clipping Round Table to talk about continuity in scrapbook albums. It was a joy and honor to join Stacy, Shimelle, Noell, and Izzy! Now that's a sentence I thought I would never write!

Pinch Me....

OK, moving on! It was great fun as we chatted about our own personal album system:
 Continuity in style:
 And in color:
How we divide topics or themes:
And our process pre and post layout...
I have talked briefly about Album Continuity and blogged some of my dividing pages here. But, haven't gone into too much detail as I am certainly a subscriber to Shimelle's basic system that she teaches in her Cover to Cover class.

As I am sure you can imagine, Shimelle, Stacy and Noell all had some wonderful ideas. Me? I just tried to maintain my composure and keep up :)
It really was super fun!
I hope you will have a listen :)

A huge thank you to Noell and Izzy for inviting me, and to Shimelle for recommending me. Now, pardon me while I go file all of those layouts!

  3. Fantastic... but not such a big surprise to us - you're far and away one of the most inspirational scrapbookers I've ever encountered (even though I don't scrapbook - I can spot a genius!)...

  6. HOLY MOLY! An episode I'll actually listen to the whole way through! I often stream the paper clipping episodes but I hate sitting at my computer for that long- I tend to be writing and I can't listen attentively and write at the same time- will have to download this to my ipod and listen while I scrap. Congratulations! You are going places and it's because you provide consistently excellent pages and content each and every post- yay you!

  13. Oh my goodness....I know a star!!!
You so deserve it...your style is so fresh and you! You don't follow the crowd...you find your own way and pave it ahead for the rest of us.
You have been a catalyst in helping me change my style to be less rigid when i do layouts.
I can't share them on my blog because of my family's privacy issues...Drat!

  19. What a great episode and you should be so proud of yourself and all you have done in the last year. I have been scrapbooking since the late 90's and in the last 3 years I have just done Project Life, but you inspire me to get back to layouts.

  21. Should we ask for your autograph now? (teasing) :-) I started listening on my iPod as I fell asleep last night and was happy to hear that you were on! Now I'm listening to the rest of the show. Congratulations! (And how sweet that your husband left a "good job" message over on the PRT site -- he's a keeper!)
