TAG, your IT! Well, according to Paper Issues, anyway! Welcome to our blog hop. If you arrived here from Amy's blog, hello! And, if you prefer to start at the beginning, head on over to visit Bethany. But, now that you are here, let's get on with it, shall we?
I love to make tags. In fact I usually make at least one a month and send it off with some happy mail for Layout Love Linky. When I heard that we were all about tags at Paper Issues, I was eager to play along! I think this time I will get these worked into a layout. But first, we must stamp a resist:
Stamped circles all dry! Now, I have spritzed various greens and blues onto my mat and will wipe the tags through that...
Gorgeous!
But, perhaps a bit too stark. Some white picket fence distress stain should remedy that:
And while I wait for that to dry, perhaps some alcohol ink splotches will be nice?
Oh, yeah baby!
And now it's glitter time!
Once all that messy fun is dry, the pens come out:
Doodling added, and a quick check to see if this photo will work. Yeppers, but now those tags need some blue.
The only pen I have in that color is a dry erase marker. LOL! Oh well, lets go with it....
And some brown action... A doodly doodly doo....
I think I have my tags where I want them. I LOVE the bold pop they give. But, that visual pop needs to be spread around the page a bit. Enter.... washi.....
YAY! Title time! I have been on a thicker adventure lately (more on that soon) and one result of that is this title...
Now for some more of the splotchy love around the page:
YAY, FUN!
A bit of pen work, some journaling, an adorable badge from Campfire Designs, some sequins, twine, and stick pins....
All done! What do you like to do with your tags? Get crafty and link up with us over at Paper Issues. You might even win this awesome prize! Seriously? An eBosser machine? WOWSERS! Head over to Paper Issues for all the details on the give-away!
