If you have been hanging around Purple Mailbox for a bit, you know I am not much for scrapping with sketches. Nothing against them, of course... I just rarely have a plan when I start out and for some reason having a plan seems to work against me.
So, when Scarlett contacted me and asked if I would guest over at Skissedilla this month, I may have hyperventilated just a little. First of all, I must be hanging out under a rock or something because I had never heard of this fabulous blog before. But, as soon as I caught my breath and clicked on over to check it out, I was replying to Miss Scarlett with a resounding YES!
Are you wondering why? What is so different about these sketches that had me biting at the bit? Well... just check out the one below! They have sketched IN the messiness! How cool is that?
Ok, so I know that you can totally adapt any sketch to work with any style, yada yada yada...
However, the fact that it was already there? Well, that just totally appealed to me. Shocker, I know.
If you have been hiding under the same rock I have and haven't heard of the awesome Sketch blog that is Skissedilla, you must check it out. There is a new sketch every week! You link up, get inspiration, scrap some goodness, and even have the chance to win prizes! Head on over here for all the deets.
I will be there all month (YAY!) and hope you will play along with all the fabulousness.
Fabulousness that inspires alphabet confetti...AND doodles...
I hope your feeling playful:Playful enough to join in on the fun:
And make it a happy scrappy day:
After all, the winner of my Skissedilla monthly prize pack, will also get this tag!
