It's super easy to enter! All you have to do is link up with our theme of the week and include a link back. This week it's all about paint. So, grab some paint and link up for the chance to win!
I have a TON of old house paint lying around. Well, as you know, I can't leave things lying around for too long. So, let's put that to use! If you don't have house paint, never fear... any acrylic based paint will do the trick.
First, a bit of green is painted on some plain white card stock:
After 3 coats are applied and completely dry, it gets run through the Sizzix for some texture:Love that! How about some distressing?
And now perhaps toning the color down with Gesso would be a good idea?
YES! Pretty!
After several layers of paint and a quick stitch around the edge, this scrap has turned into something wonderfully flexible and durable. And, I think this something will be perfect for a little notebook cover! So, some Studio Calico journal pages are stacked together, layered on, and reinforced with Washi:
Then, a simple zig-zag stitch down the center creates a nice little spine:
Now for some embellishing with these fab Basic Gray Flowers:
Some more washi and a bit of twine:
A nice little cover title:
And, there we have it! Easy Peasy!
A sweet little notebook to "JOT" things down....
Onto beautifully splattered pages, I might add!
Yes indeed! Made with Love!
