No Rules? I can do that! How 'bout you? That's the name of the game over at Simon Says Stamp and Show this week.
When I saw this flying pig paper from Graphic 45, I just had to smile. In fact, I don't usually scrap with G45, but I purchased a sheet of this as soon as it hit stores!
And then it sat in my stash....
But, this week I have no rules and this seems like as good a time as any to bust out some flying pigs.
A bit of fussy cutting...
A fabulous assortment of October Afternoon papers:
Perhaps now we can cut down some card stock with scissors to give some rough little squares:Let's layer up the squares with my pigs:
and add a bit of stitching:
After repeating that several times, we have a gorgeous stack of little interactive flaps...
See? Likey so...
When pigs fly... I will stop drinking coffee:
I will look forward to cooking dinner:
I will enjoy shopping:
Now for some twine loops for a pop of color and a visual invitation to open each flap:
Some washi, of course:Title work:
Ta Da!
A fun little interactive layout!
Complete with flying pigs! How funny is it that this guy ended up with the word "RIB" next to him? LOL. Did I mentioned I was raised vegetarian?
Are you wondering how all of that interactivity will function practically in a page protector? Not to worry! A simple cut out square allows all the flaps to open and close:
See there? All nice and tidy in it's page protector!
These pigs are flying right into my album!
So, what are you waiting for? Link up with Simon for a chance to win $50 to spend at simonsaysstamp.com.
I can't wait to see what you create this week, and neither can Simon!
Look how excited he looks down there :)
