Away We Go... With Glitter!

This started out innocently enough, I promise. You all know that I am a fan of using ALL my stuff down to the very last scraps. And, well... Here is what I have left of some Teresa Collins paired with some photos and a sheet of navy textured card stock.

Let's see what we can with this!
 Simple enough...
But, I have a vision of glitter splashing like the water in the photos. Perhaps some glossy accents will help with that?
 And now for the glitter!
OK, yeah - a bit carried away...
Oh, but look! It dried so pretty :) Don't worry... the excess glitter was indeed salvaged.
Photos back in place, let's add in the fussy cut flowers:
 Lovely!
 Title time!
 Away we go...
Layering on some washi:
 Stickles, of course!
 Here's what we have:
Some pen work should dress that up a bit:
Oh, yeah - journaling. I never plan that in. When I get to the point of adding it to a layout I just hope for the best! For this one, I think some strips will help us out:
 Yeppers!
Some dark blue sequins add contrast while twine adds in texture:
 And... TA DA!
Oh yes, I got carried away with the glitter! But, I love it! This seems like the perfect layout to begin August with too :)

Thanks for stopping by! See you Monday with a new Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge.
